6 months

Quin is 6 months old! I can't believe it, time has gone so fast! She is now a 16 pounder! She is becoming more and more alert and aware.

Momma loves Quin!

Quinley loves her toes! I think she loves to hear the sound of her voice. When she is laying on her back she makes a loud gargle sound that is so cute! She is just starting to jabber more with "naw naw naw."

Quin finally rolls over! She sits up really well on her own too. I love this baby girl!

5 Months

Quin is growing more and more and is learning lots of new tricks. I am proud to say that I am now one of those parents who find every little new trick to be amazing, because it really is! It is so rewarding to watch my little girl learn and grow! I feel so blessed to be a mother of such a wonderful baby!

Getting So Big!

This little sweet heart is getting so big! I miss my little baby that would cuddle up on my chest, but it is fun to watch her grow!

Here's little Miss Quin in her own big girl bed! I borrowed a bassinet from my sister in-law and loved it! I had it right by my bed for the first 3 months. It was so nice because I was exhausted but couldn't sleep very well because I was so worried about her! I felt so much better with her right by me and when she would fuss a little I could reach out and rock her all while staying in my warm bed! I was a little sad when she moved into her own room, but I quickly got over that and sleep a little better now. I always tuck her arms in so she doesn't get cold but somehow she works them out.

Quin likes tummy time now that she can hold her head up! She has rolled her twice but I think both were an accident, but she is getting very close...

Quin started to laugh around Christmas. Her Uncle Jeff was the first one to make her giggle. What a happy sound that is! Now she laughs all the time and I absolutely love
it!

Ricky is super busy with school and work. I cannot wait for the semester to be over and for Ricky to officially be done with school! Until then, 7 or so more weeks....

Quinley's Blessing

Quinley was given a Blessing by her father on January 31st 2011. We were lucky enough to have a combined blessing with Quinley's cousin Tanner!

Grandma Dorothy admiring her work. She made this blessing dress for me 23 years ago. This is a special treasure to me, and I am so happy Quinley could wear it!

Cute Babies and their proud parents:)

*Christmas*

Christmas was so fun this year! We celebrated with the Hone's in my home valley at a cabin in Huntsman Springs. It was so fun to have the whole family there! Especially Brian, Danielle, and Tanner who we don't get to see near enough. It was a bitter sweet holiday with Grandpa George. I am thankful that we were close to him for Christmas and I was able to spend time with him.

Quinley's first Christmas Eve!

Santa came, and he left the best present ever... A sweet baby girl!

Quin's adorable Christmas dress from Grammy!

Update on baby girl: Quinley turned 3 months Christmas Day. She weighs 12 lbs now. She just graduated from her bassinet to her crib. She usually wakes up once a night and sometimes if I'm lucky sleeps the whole night! She LOVES her little play gym and is starting to get hand eye coordination. She smiles more and more and is starting to laugh. This is such a fun age!

Island Park

The Rammell Family went to Island Park for a couple of days before Christmas. My dad rented a cabin on Henry's Lake. We went ice fishing, cross country skiing, played games, and ate good food!

Poor Ricky didn't get a bite fishing...

Surprise! I'm Pregnant! jk but it does look like I am again.

Even little Quin went on the lake but didn't stay too long, it was a very cold day.

My beautiful baby girl. Uncle Jeff was making Quin giggle and it was so cute!

Kingfish

Grandpa George passed away yesterday morning 12/29/11.Grandpa George has always been very special to me. I grew up with Grandpa living right next to us just up the hill. I would ride my bike to his house frequently. He would come down to our house nearly every morning. He would be there while I was getting ready for school and loved playing tricks on me like putting rocks in my lunch box. Now I don't mean pebbles, I mean large stones. Grandpa had the best sense of humor. He would play along to tease me even when my brothers turned me invisible.

I learned so many things from Grandpa. I love his calm demeanor and his great perspective on life. He knew what wasn't a big deal and was very easy going. My favorite story of Grandpa happened when I was about seven. He was babysitting me at his house. He was relaxing in his recliner and I was farting around looking at Grandma Jo's "knick knacks". Now you have to know my Grandma to appreciate this story, but her house is loaded head to toe with knick knack and decorations. I was studying her knick knacks on their fire mantle when one of them fell and shattered. I was terrified that I was going to be in so much trouble. I turned around to Grandpa anticipating a yelling. He had barely flinched and calmly said, "Clean it up, I won't tell." Grandpa was so forgiving and knew that something broken wasn't a good reason to yell at a child and I love him for that. We told Grandma I broke something but we never told her what it was. It was our little secret. She eventually figured it out, but it took her years.

We could call Grandpa for anything. My brother Andy was constantly using Grandpa as his attorney in high school to get him out of things and to calm my mom down. I have called Grandpa multiple times to help me find my dad's dog Gilligan. I thought my dad would kill me if I lost his dog. Gilligan like everyone else loves Grandpa George. He would come running when he was Grandpa's little truck putting along even if Gilligan was far up on the hill. I have so many sweet memories of Grandpa and funny stories that I will always cherish.

I love my Grandpa and I will always be his baby girl. This past month he hasn't been totally coherent all the time but one of the last things he told me is, "Now my baby girl has her own baby girl." Grandpa George you will be greatly missed. You were loved so deeply by many.
